Overview

Lynker Corporation, in partnership with FISH under the FLOAT JV, is seeking an Aquaculture and Protected Resources Analyst to assist with ESA, EFH, and NEPA consultations for aquaculture and marine resource activities across the NOAA West Coast Region.
Employment in this role is contingent upon FLOAT being awarded the contract by NOAA.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct ESA Section 7 and MSA EFH consultations on aquaculture operations.

  • Participate in development of Aquaculture Opportunity Areas and related EIS documents.

  • Review NEPA and MMPA documents for marine species impacts.

  • Coordinate technical reviews and provide consultation support to area offices.

  • Prepare and maintain consultation documentation and administrative records.

  • Engage with action agencies, tribal reps, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Undergraduate degree in marine biology, conservation biology, or related field.

  • Experience with ESA, EFH, NEPA, and MMPA compliance processes.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of marine species including sea turtles, whales, sturgeon, and abalone.

  • Experience evaluating offshore aquaculture and energy development impacts
