Lynker Technologies has an opening for PHP Developer position supporting a contract with NOAA's Greater Atlantic Regional Fisheries Office (GARFO) performing Information Technology Services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance web-based applications using PHP 7 and modern frameworks such as CodeIgniter 4.

  • Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL scripts and queries for Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and implement user-friendly, secure, and scalable solutions.

  • Integrate applications with APIs and services using JSON, OpenID, and OIDC protocols.

  • Manage code versions and collaborate in a shared development environment using Git and GitHub.

  • Deploy and support applications in a Linux-based environment, utilizing command-line tools for setup and maintenance.

  • Contribute to cloud-based development initiatives within AWS, ensuring performance, security, and reliability standards are met.

  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups.

Qualifications

 

 

The PHP Developer selected should have the following:

 

  • 3+ years of professional PHP development experience, with strong PHP 7 skills
  • 3+ years of creating SQL scripts

 

The Ideal PHP Developer will also have the following:

  • Experience using Oracle SQL, PostgreSQL, Cloud AWS Environment, JSON, Linux, GitHub, Command-Line Git, CodeIgnitor 4, OpenID, and OIDC
