As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced System Administrator/ Project Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers (Windows/Linux), networking, virtualization, and security.
  • Oversee system upgrades, patch management, and performance monitoring.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker), and cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Implement security measures, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance standards.
  • Support database management, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related technologies.
  • Develop and utilize monitoring solutions and ticketing systems to track equipment and system performance.
  • Lead IT projects including infrastructure deployments, network upgrades, and system integrations.
  • Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables; manage change control processes.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Monitor programmatic and technical aspects of system maintenance in a leadership role.
  • Provide clear communication of technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • A degree can be substituted by relevant certifications and 6+ years of job-related experience in networking, operating systems, database management, and system administration.
  • 6+ years of progressive management experience in functional and program roles.

Technical Skills:

 

  • Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux) and server technologies (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP).
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and security principles.
  • Experience with infrastructure deployment, software development, and system integration.
  • Familiarity with deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker).
  • Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and monitoring solutions.

Certifications:

 

  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or CCNP are highly desirable.
