As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Graphics Artist/Multimedia Specialist to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) National Data Buoy Center (NDBC).

 

This position is contingent on contract award.

 

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities of the Graphics Artist/Multimedia Specialist will include, but are not limited to:

  • Work on a wide range of projects using software programs to develop graphic products to meet NDBC’s needs

  • Translate strategic direction into high-quality design

  • Develop communications products for a variety of users and stakeholders

  • Prepare communications materials for NDBC events

  • Create visual products for NDBC staff

  • Translate technical information into compelling visual materials

  • Assist the NDBC Communications Lead with planning/execution of tours, events, etc. 

  • Take and edit photos of events, visits, operations, etc 

  • Maintain a historical library of graphics, photos, videos, images, etc.

Qualifications

Requirements of the Graphics Artist/Multimedia Specialist:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 

  • 4 years of relevant experience
