As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Specialist to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) National Data Buoy Center (NDBC).

 

We are pleased to inform you that Lynker Corporation supports a flexible work environment. Remote work is permitted upon approval; however, you will also be required to work from the on site office as necessary to fulfill your role’s responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist will include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and submit invoices to the government for payment

  • Maintain project charge numbers current within the cost accounting system and provide quality assurance

  • Compile and submit accruals, unbilled, and other direct cost reports to the corporate office

  • Check and track all costs for the contract under the labor summary report, travel report, subcontractors report, and summary report

  • Maintain a tracker for Material PR submissions to include tracking remaining funds and approval of new PRs

Qualifications

Requirements of the Accounting Specialist:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field

  • 8 years of related experience
