Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the IT Support Clerk is to be a key member of ERP support, providing expertise in software systems configuration and processes. Job tasks include: the preparation of software systems for use, training users, maintaining documentation, and providing Help Desk support.

 

Duties of the IT Support Clerk will include the Following:

  • Accurately resolve inquiries with high level of professionalism, ensuring quality service level standards are met.
  • Work with our Accounting, Contracts, and HR teams with the purpose of ensuring correct system setups in preparing the system for use.
  • Assist with setup and configuration tasks such as users, resources, vendors, and jobs.
  • Ensure data import processes are validated for accuracy.
  • Reconciliation of NAV information with other company systems such as Paylocity.
  • Assist with system reorganization.
  • Discuss software processes with the end users to enable effective use of software features and functions in the business environment.
  • Assist the Help Desk in troubleshooting issues and follow-up training.

Qualifications

The Ideal IT Support Clerk will have the following Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Salesforce, or some other relationship management data base software.
  • General understanding of Accounting and business flows.
  • Analytical skills demonstrating the ability to analyze a situation and suggest a course of actions.
  • Problem solving skills focused on identifying and filling gaps and propose resolution.
  • Flexibility to respond appropriately and professionally to multiple simultaneous demands in a dynamically changing environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and strong communication skills encompassing non-verbal, verbal, written, and listening techniques.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Interested applicants should possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve business software problems.
  • Must be familiar with PC and laptop hardware components as well as a keen interest in computer-based information systems and technology.
  • Currently holding any Microsoft Dynamics NAV certification is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of business flow and operations of medium to large projects is a plus.
